AEJMC Midwinter Conference Deadline Extended to December 15th

The AEJMC Midwinter Conference has extended its deadline until this Thursday, December 15th @ midnight CST. All you need to do to submit an abstract is complete the online submission process available by clicking here. The conference will be held at the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication at The University of Oklahoma from March 3^rd-4^th. The formal call for papers can also be accessed by clicking here.Thank you to those who have already submitted abstracts, and we look forward to receiving additional submissions between now and Thursday’s deadline.

Reminder: 2017 Midwinter Abstracts due Saturday

A friendly reminder that abstracts for the 2017 AEJMC Midwinter Conference are due this Saturday, December 10th. All you need to do to submit an abstract is complete the online submission process available by clicking here.

Call for Reviewers – 2016 Tankard Book Award

Reviewers are needed for the 2016 Tankard Book Award competition. This award recognizes the most outstanding book in the field of journalism and mass communication; it also honors authors whose work embodies excellence in research, writing and creativity.

Each reviewer will be assigned to read two or three books that have been submitted to the competition. The books will be mailed in early to mid-December and reviews will be due by March 30. You may keep the books you receive.

If you are willing to serve as a reviewer, please email George Sylvie at g.sylvie@utexas.edu and let him know the best snail mail address to use. Your help in reviewing these new books would be greatly appreciated.
